Prevention Education and Outreach Accomplishments

 Between July 1, 2003 and June 30, 2004 VCA’s Outreach Department: 

• Conducted 52 children's safety presentations
• Provided 45 abduction prevention presentations to parents and community members
• Fingerprinted 1,981 children
• Reached more than 72,000 individuals through education and outreach events and millions more through television, radio and print.
• Provided 12 specialized trainings, reaching more than 1,000 education, law enforcement and other professionals
